This Dashboard widget allows you to check up on your XBOX Live gaming friends while you're busy working. More than just a static gamer card, the 1337pwn.com widget can display gamer score AND online status for your whole friends list.

This 1337pwn.com XBOX Live widget does not require your Microsoft Passport or Windows Live information. Simply enter the XBOX Live Gamer Tags that you want displayed, the widget does the rest.

What's new in Version 2.5?

  • More compact gamer display format saves dashboard real estate
  • No more scrolling -- the widget will grow automatically in height as you add more gamertags
  • Send a message via XBOX.com by clicking on the gamer picture
  • If Halo 3 is the recently played game, you can click on it to display that gamer's Bungie.net page
  • Clicking on any other recent game will navigate to the XBOX.com profile

If you have not upgraded to MacOS Leopard yet, you must use v2.1 as the v2.5 widget uses features unique to MacOS 10.5. You can download a Tiger-friendly (MacOS 10.4) version of the widget here.

Widget version listed in Apple's Dashboard Widget gallery (Click here).
iPhone/iPod Touch version listed in Apple's Web Application gallery (Click here).

Widgets for other Platforms - COMING SOON

Note:
While it provides core functionality, the Blackberry/Palm version does not implement all features due to platform limitations. Click here for a screenshot.

Not a problem.  Only a handful of users were still using the old 2.1 widget. We assumed that only a small number would be affected.  We don't have a 10.4 machine that we can develop/test on at this point.  Leopard is a very worthwhile upgrade and Snow Leopard is around the corner.  If you've been holding off, it's a good time to take the plunge.

Thank you for your understanding.

One would think that Microsoft would support 1337 enough technically so that users wouldn't have to upgrade Macintosh's software and put money towards Mac instead of PC.  I love how I have used this for almost 2 years and now I am basically getting kicked to the curb just because I can't afford the upgrade to Leopard.  At the same time, 1337 doesn't even know how to format their v3 version so that previous OSX users are able to add xbox live friends.  Of course, borocouncilman has his gamertag defaulted into the software.  Hey boro, would it be too hard to add an "i" to the v3 version for OSX users???   I am pretty pissed off that because someone else was stealing your bandwidth and you did not know how to stop it, I have to suffer instead of the bandwidth pirates.  I guess tucking your tail between your legs and running to big brother google is a lot easier than finding out who is screwing you over.
